I was sitting by the nest taking photo's today when Hardy Pletz came buy who was looking after a lot of nests in the province... He was banding what he could... This nest of bluebird baby's were to large to band and if he touch them, good chance the would make attempt to escape. Hardy is a professional photographer and bird Bander... Hawk, owl, and many other species... Very informative and nice to talk to... full of ideas... I can see lots of information down the way... This was a special day....
The nest box looks to be about 6 inches square... Three baby bluebirds....
