This photo was taken on the way to Pender Islands near Blue River. In a wild area, this Black Bear was strolling along the road. It had no fear and seemed to be friendly which you should never trust anyway. Open the drivers door and kept a safe distance...10 ft. "other side of the Van" and shot a few photos...This black bear was in great shape and beautiful to see. Start to a nice trip.
