Canada Geese 2010 "150 Photos" "Thank You all for making such nice comments"

The Canada Geese arrived around March 1st. at the By the Lake Park. There is an area they kept open for the trout that had been stocked. The geese have taken over which is good for me. Looking forward to shooting photos of them and even better with my New 7D. Seems like I am always changing the ISO for the conditions for best quality should be shot lower. I am generally set up for flying or action so high ISO is a must.. This seem workable.Hope you enjoy the photos this year of them and please take time to leave a comment as they are appreciated. This is going to be a great year for shots. Over 25 nesting pairs and as of today May 10 we have 5 family's so far.

Loved your shots. We have Canadian geese here from October through February then they're off. These shots are much closer than I can get and I love the variety and beauty. Thanks.

Great gallery, good variety! The Canada geese were imported to Sweden in the 1930s. Now they have spread beyond whats healthy for the nature. They have adapted very well and are all over the place.
