The Aboriginal Day celebration took place in Hobbema at the Maskwacis Bear Park. It was enjoyed by all. Not a big Pow Wow but really a family affair... the big Pow Wow is in at this park, the first week in July... It was a fun afternoon, Pow Wow and then a bar-b-que for all... followed by a give away, Puppeteers and then Hobbema's own Shane Yellowbird.. Fireworks followed... I had a nice time there and I generally go to most Pow Wows there... Very colorful,not to be missed...
