An antique Tibetan tsakli painting, 19th Century or earlier, depicting a pair of crossed golen scythes (Tibetan: dgra zor), symbolising the cutting away of all evil karmas 'overturning the world above ground'. It is also used as a weapon to seer the limbs, and decapitate the opponents of the dharma. The scythes have a lotus blossom at the pivot and a red silk ribbon flowing around them. 9.3 x 12.3
