An antique Tibetan tsakli painting, 19th Century or earlier depicting a barefoot standing deity wearing a gold diadem, the hair within a gold crown, heavy gold earrings and bodhisattva ornaments. The deity wears a red robe and saffron cloak, both lavishly patterned with gold. He holds a Buddhist rosary (mala) in his right hand, his left holding a golden treasure vase (bhumpa). A single line of Tibetan text to the lower red edge in the front. 6 x 8.1cm
