An antique Tibetan tsakli painting, 19th Century or earlier depicting a barefoot standing deity wearing a gold diadem, the hair within a gold crown, heavy gold earrings and bodhisattva ornaments. The deity wears a red robe and a blue edged saffron cloak with flying sleeves, both lavishly patterned with gold. He holds the '4 stacks' of Mt. Meru (the simple earth representation of Mt Meru as a 4 tiered base, corresponding to the 4 lower tiers of the sacred mountain)
a gold treasure vase in his left hand. A single line of Tibetan text to the lower red edge in the front. 6.1 x 8cm
