An antique, 19th Century tsakli painting in mineral pigments depicting within a burst of roiling flames a wrathful,
red bodied deity in yabyum with his rose-bodied Sakti. His streaming hair is held back behind a diadem, above his 3
glaring eyes which gaze directly at the viewer, while his Sakti gazes intently at his snarling face. He holds a
damaru in his right hand, his left holds a golden dorje handled bell, while his Sakti holds a golden khatvanga. They
both wear golden bodhisattva jewellery - he wears a tiger skin dhoti and she a leopard skin dhoti as they trample
the wretch of ignorance beneath their feet upon their lotus throne. 10.4 x 12.5cm
