That's a nice woodpile. Great shot too!

Deforestation is real. Excellent photography here.
Fong Lam30-May-2023 03:47
Clever composition creating an illusion of endless tracks and an infinite expanse of logs, seamlessly continuing beyond the boundaries of the frame...V
Nick Paoni29-May-2023 19:17
Love the layers of repeating elements in this frame. The processing puts it over the top.
Dennis Hoyne29-May-2023 16:48
The rusty tones in the tracks are repeated in the pine logs and accented in the sky. A fine shot!
Julie Oldfield29-May-2023 16:32
A mountain of fallen trees. The warm colors are a potent contrast to the industrial landscape. V
Jeff Real29-May-2023 13:03
That is a lot of trees that are no more!
The use of lines is amazing here and the sky is gorgeous!

I love the 3 dimensional feel of this. Well seen and crafted! V

what a concatenation of patterns, contrasting in scale inextricably linked...smart comp gives the impression that the tracks and the mountain of logs go on forever..

Such an amazing number of logs, nicely captured. I saw the exact same thing in Astoria. V.
Dan Greenberg29-May-2023 03:35
And a hell of a lot of it. Fabulous comp and capture. You really captured it in magnificent fashion. ~BV~

All over the northwest coast, log piles made up of small and smaller diameter trunks as timber farms (forests) harvest younger and younger trees. Sad. Well shown.
