11th April 2017

Dad: Here's another pic of Pooch enjoying a garden snooze the other day. :-) He continues quite bright
and is eating well. We took him to the vet this evening, and they think he may have slight
dementia as well as the kidney failure that we already knew about. He's going back to the vet
tomorrow all day for further kidney function tests... apparently the veterinary nurses & trainees all adore
him and give him lots of cuddles and attention while he's there. :-)
We may not get the lab tests results back until after Easter, but we'll keep you posted.
Thanks to wise friends with more experience of old-age pooch-care than we have, who've been
kind enough to share their thoughts and comments. :-)

What a nice photo of him. We have aging animals and the best we can do is keep them comfortable. Everyone and every creature ages. As long as ours are now in great pain we just care for them and love them until the day they die.

Pooch has a lot of charm for the nurses. Nice capture of Pooch catching some zzzzz.

Of course he is popular at the vet's office! He has charmed all of us over the years. It's nice to see him doing so well. V

That grass looks a lovely soft place to lie in and absorb the rays of the sun..

It must be lovely to have the sun on his back and to snooze in the grass.
Pooch is loved by his many online friends too. 💗
