11th February 2013

Friends, Mum's still got hold of Dad's camera! At least, Dad says it's his, Mum says it's OURS!
She used it to take this action shot of me and Dad having a tug of war with OCTOPUS. I don't know if you've met Octopus before,
but he has eight different legs to tug at and is great fun! Some of the legs make exciting squeaking noises when you bite them!
Would you like to take a turn playing tug of war with Octopus, friends??

Dad: Pooch is 12 next birthday, and although he still loves play-time he gets tired more easily than he used to.
One benefit of that is that the soft toys are lasting longer!
In case you're wondering, the pad of old carpet on the floor is to cushion him a bit... he will insist on leaping down off the sofa
onto the hard wood floor and we're anxious in case it gets too much for his bones and joints. Trying to train him out of the leaping, but in the meantime...

Eight legs to chew on, wow!
Max is the same, chasing about then slow and creaky in the evening. He is unable to get on the couch now - which is good - but sad in a way.

Great action shot of Pooch having fun with octopus. What a nice Mum and Dad to put a nice piece of carpet down for you Pooch.

I DO remember the Octopus! How funny.
Its a good idea to place a pad for him to jump on. I know most of us understand the aches, pains and accidents that come with advanced age... LOL

Having a great time, Pooch. He's so frisky at almost 12. V

Great fun capture. Does Pooch like to play rough with his chew toys?

Do the octopus legs get a bit juicy when you play that game Dad?

Ha, good luck convincing both Mum and Pooch...Our girl finds herself overdoing the youthful romp sometimes. then limps for days following. It's nice Pooch is being kinder to his toys!!

Can't teach an old dog new tricks.
BTW Don't agree with Stephanie.

Mum is right ~ what's hers is hers and what's yours is hers too! ;)
So glad to see Pooch enjoying playtime!
