You can see the mixture of the old and the new here: a modern walkway built as part of the Millennium redevelopment of the area, and
a modern apartment block ahead on the left-hand side. To the right are a few of the old Victorian buildings that were in use when this
was an area of busy and prosperous docks used for shipbuilding and timber exports, now derelict and covered in graffiti.
