9th November 2009

Dad and I both felt in the mood for a long walky this afternoon, because the sun came out and it was quite warm!
Both unusual occurrences for November. I think there could be a rabbit or two up here somewhere, don't you?

Dad: Halfway home, we started to have the most beautiful, slanting, golden autumn light - the sort of light that is every landscape photographer's dream.
Unfortunately my camera literally chose that moment to beep loudly and turn itself off, and no amount of coaxing would persuade it to turn on again!
Time to add a spare battery to my wish list for Father Christmas...

Nice shot, but I do know what you are talking about, had that happen on a whale/dolphin boating expedition, luckily I had my battery charger and the boat had power. : ) v

Arrrgghhh! I hate when that happens. If I'm going to be away from my bag for any length of time, I grab a spare... Perhaps Father Christmas will visit you this year....?

But at least you managed to get this one - so clear.

Beautiful landscape, hopefully tomorrow you will have plenty of battery power and see the same wonderful light.

Looks like there's a nice breeze on the hilltop! Lovely day for an outing. You have a beautiful photo here. Sorry about the battery.

Beautiful landscape. I've learned to have my batteries fully charged every time I leave the house. I missed out on a "never to be gotten again" shot one time of my brother.
