Happy New Year again to all our Pbase friends! Today I'm feeling very perky because after seeing
Aunty Ally the dermatology specialist earlier in the week, Dad and Mum were given the go-ahead
for CAREFUL WALKIES i.e. brief walkies on short grass as long as the weather's dry, and bath straight afterwards.

It was very cold today and as you can see both me and Mum were well wrapped up! But I was DELIGHTED
to be out and about again, as you can imagine!

Dad thought I might be a bit subdued after having spent most of last night "guarding" him and Mum
from all the New Year fireworks with their crashes and flashes, but not a bit of it! I feel very
lively indeed. But Dad and Mum do seem a bit tired today... I wonder why?

Dad: the fireworks and the "guarding" both stopped at about 4.30am... yawn!
