15th December 2008

Dad: Here's a walky pic from a couple of weeks ago. Pooch won't be doing this for a while. He took a turn for the worse yesterday,
therefore had an operation this morning and stitches in his paw again. We'll be able to bring him home from the v*t's later.
On the phone after the surgery, v*t said it's still a bit of a mystery what's causing the
flare-ups - they weren't able to find any foreign object such as a grass seed in there, and
they can't rule out other causes yet either such as an ingrowing hair or even the dreaded
C-word... although we've been assured that this is very unlikely. We'll know more after biopsy results
later this week. In the meantime... lots of rest and care for the convalescent...

BTW thanks for all your messages and comments. We may be slow to reply at the moment but we do appreciate them.

Poor Pooch. I really hope everything comes back clear. I know from my recent experience how hard it is to wait for answers.

Oh poor Pooch, I am sure he will be happy to be home after his surgery. What a shame you won't be able to go walkies much for the time being. Teddy and I wish Pooch a speedy recovery, and send a big hug from across The Pond.

Poor Pooch, what a crappy Christmas season. I hope they find out what´s the problem and clears it up, too.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Maybe Santa will bring him a little canvas boot for outdoor wear.
