11th December 2008

Dad: Pooch seems quite bright in himself and is playing with his toys and eating well, however
his paw is still quite red and swollen. We're in two minds about what to do at the moment; the second
opinion we sought has so far been of limited use given that the second v*t asked to read Pooch's medical notes
and hasn't yet come back to us. Pooch is on antibiotics and as he doesn't seem to be in pain at the
moment, we'll be using the next day or two to consider our options regarding the further invasive investigative
procedures which the first v*t is still insisting need to be done...

In the meantime, here's a photo from a couple of weeks ago of Pooch on R*BBITWATCH.

UPDATE 12th December 2008: It looks as though Pooch will have to go in for surgery on Monday. Forgive us if there are no
updates for the next few days. Given that Pooch has 2 or 3 weeks of stitches and misery in front of him we'll be trying to make the best of this weekend...

Max understands after a very unpleasant incident with a broken beer bottle this time last year. Really sorry to hear of Pooch's trouble, we look forward to seeing him back in action very soon. Chris

Get well soon Pooch. You can come and show Holly how to watch wabbits, she just chases them (or exercises them)
