Thank you for your comments Karen. Much appreciated. We had Truman about 8 years and he had a few health issues over the years but kept bouncing back from them. Our lives would have been much poorer without him as a buddy. His sister, Delta, is now 10 and quite an elderly lady. She's just finished a course of injections to ease her arthritis and seems to have responded well to them.
I am sorry to hear about Truman. How old was he? I know there are several inherited health issues with Maine Coons, so I hope Charlie doesn't get any of them. Probably due to breeding practices, as the breed almost died out when Persians and other long-haired breeds became popular.
