Bird flea

(Species to be determined). A high-magnification picture of a live (chilled) individual. The length of the
vertical field of view is less than 3mm! Even with the lens stopped down to f16, depth of field is
limited.The insect was placed on a sheet of glass positioned 15cm (6 inches) above a sheet
of blue card... so that any shadow produced by the FL-36 flash positioned to the left
of the insect, would be over to the right and beyond the field of view of the lens.
