Angle Shades Moth (Phlogophora meticulosa) egg

Approximately 1mm in diameter, laid on a Clematis plant.

Not a perfect shot because I'm still trying to get to grips with working with such a tiny depth-of-field!

OM 38mm f2.8 Zuiko Auto-Macro, OM 65-116mm zoom auto tube, OM-FourThirds adapter, FL-36 flash plus ttl lead.
