A rare mosaic gynandromorph of Morpho menelaus, being a mostly male butterfly with the right forewing showing some female markings (brown colouration and double row of white spots).
Captured in Obidos, Para State, Brazil, in June 1992, this butterfly belongs to the subspecies hubneri. Wingspan=103mm.
