location: Kölle-Zoo Karlsruhe
tank size: 180cm (L) x 120cm (W) x 110cm (H)
volume - clear : 2600 Liter (with filter system)- without 2.400 Liter
aquarium tank weight clear: 600 kilogramm
decoration-stones: 700 kilogramm black slate
bottom ground: 250 kilogramm grey slate color bottom
plants: Crinum thaianum, Cryptocoryne usteriana, Anubias barteri var.nana, Anubias barteri var. caladiifolia"1705"

lightning: 3 x 150 Watt HQI (10.000 Kelvin)

This tank was set up and planned for different juvenile Malawi-Lake cichlids.

What did you use to secure the slate, together and to the glass?

Nice tank.

I use a special silikon called Inotec...can use it underwater and keep the stones really good togehter. Very safety.

Yes I stand in the tank when it was empty. It was very heavy because I use over 700kg stones.

How did you build the stone-towers? did you stand in the tank? i looks really difficult.
