This is a 5V 1A power supply for iPOD etc, modified for standard power plug (5,5/2,1mm, central pin positive) and moved to a small project box. This converter is used as a part of my field setup to power dLink USB hub. While the hub power input is rated at 2,5A, this is for setups where devices are powered from the hub. In my case, power consumption is approx 250mA.
