No Skiing Today

This is bristol Mountain, the ski resort closest to us. The trail just to the left of the building is 1200 foot vertical; the highest vertical between the Adirondacks to the east and the Rocky mountains to the west. I've been up there - everything down below looks so small. They use snow making and also have night skiing and you can see the equipment on the trails.

In the Fall, they have chair lift rides to the top so you can walk down (if you want) and enjoy the Fall colors.

I agree with Glenn, this is a cool shot because most people never see it. Cool work.

Looks like you ski right into the building. ;)

A scene not normally seen without all the white; so thats what's under the snow. Looks like the perfect time to visit it too, no traffic and ample parking.
