My Very First

I had the most pleasant surprise today. I was cleaning some things out of the basement at my Mom's house when I found this: my very first camera ever! WOW did it make my day. I had thought about this camera in the past but figured it was long gone. Never again will I loose it. I took this quickly because I wanted to share this event with you all.

I also "found" my Mom's old Kodak Six-20 Brownie box camera, a Kodak Vigilant 620 (I don't ever remember seeing this one before) and a Kodak Brownie Flash 620 camera. I'll have some images of these later.

I've got to learn how to do some studio type lighting so I can produce much better images for things like this. If anyone has any books or suggestions on the topic I am very open to hear them.

It's always nice to be reunited with old possessions! Wish I had my first camera! Haven't a clue where it is. This is such a treasure! Nicely captured, Patti!

Does that bring back memories! Great find. Are you going to keep all the cameras? Might make a nice mini museum.
