Almost Done

I cleared the driveway this morning.
It was quite cold but I enjoyed the silence of the early morning
and the beauty of the freshly fallen snow, glistening in the morning sunlight.

Nicely shaped foreground and beautiful early light on the surrounding trees.

This is how much snow we got here, now it's raining.

Excellent clearing but don't put the shovel away, just yet, Patti..

Funny, mine is just the opposite, the bottom left end of mine isn't shoveled! And maybe a bigger difference is that mine still isn't shoveled! :-) Bet yours is by now!

Such a very winter scene! I can feel the silence, too, from your image, my favorite thing about freshly fallen snow.

Nice light on your neighbors trees, you should have waited until the sun hit your drive so you could have been a bit warmer. But of coarse all that exertions warms the body...

Nice morning light and a fine documentary of your morning's work. I wonder if you ever feel like deja vu all over again when out clearing this drive?
