Too Hot For This Bird

Found this Snowy Owl sitting in the shade of a post on a dock. Guess the Sun was too hot for it.
I really want a longer lens :-(

A fine capture. Snowy Owls are usually back in the artic tundra by then. Possibly could't leave due to ill health?? Very sad situation...

Nice observational image. He'll be heading north soon enough - I'll look for his arrival.

New lens are very very expensive. A solution to your want is learn how to get closer. Problem solved. :O)

What a sweet owl. Would love to capture a photo of one. I want a 500mm lens, too.
My stupid camera is now obsolete.
