View From The Lift Bridge

Another view of the ice jam on the Genesee River. I am on the bridge looking South. You can see the "brown water" that is below the bridge is not frozen and in fact the whole North side of the bridge is unfrozen. Also I walked the asphalt path down the right side of the image to about where the river makes the right turn and the river is not frozen there either. It was only a 15 minute walk so it's just this stretch where these marinas and docks are that the ice jam is located.
