93% of Full Waxing Gibbous Moon

This is a practice shot for the upcoming lunar eclipse in the wee morning hours of Dec 21, 2010 (for my area). I don't have high hopes it will remain a clear sky for the event (rarely does) but I'm making a few practice shots so I have an idea just in case it is clear at 2 AM on Tuesday.
This was hand held mostly to get an idea of the exposure readings but I do plan on using my tripod for the real event.

I'm hoping it is clear too. Great shot of the moon, Patti. Hope you get to get the image on Tuesday. :)

Looks good! I think I used f/8, 1/320 sec, iso400 on a tripod to photograph the last lunar eclipse. I am planning to stay up for the event, but unfortunately it doesn't appear that the skies will be clear here :(

Looks like a great practice shot (as I glance over my shoulder and see this same moon rising over the Alaskan snow.)
