I just happened to turn a corner when I saw this Red-tailed Hawk fly up and land on this pole. I knew I would only get a brief amount of time before he flew off as I approached so I pre focused on the wires as I drove closer to the pole and was able to snap off 2 frames before he flew off. These are the times I wish I had a 500mm lens :-(

I'm not sure what he was doing with his claw but it looks like he had a cramp in it and was trying to work it out :-)
