I is for...

Ice Skates! I'll bet it's been at least 20 years since I last skated. I'm not even sure these would fit me anymore and I'm just as sure I'd probably twist my ankle or worse if I tried skating now.

Today's letter was "I" and since it's December and I live in the Northeast you would think that would be easy: ice, icicles, ice coated, etc. Not quite because it was 42 degrees F today and raining. Welcome to my world :-)

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Nicely captured. Neat to see those teeth on the blades.

Nice image. I haven't ice skated in decades. Probably not a good idea to try again now.

A very appropriate image for I and for this time of year.

LOL I have a pair hanging in the garage. Bet I haven't put my feet in them in over 20 years.

Never was very good at it myself ;-)

I grew up in Northern Michigan and Hockey was our thing...
Very nicely done and it fits the "I" category to a "T" LOL

Cool shot but I'm too cowardly to try ice sking.
You can never depend on the weather to do what you want,

They look well-used.

It's probably been that long for me too....cool idea for I. I'd bet I'd break something so I won't do it....well, maybe when I go to Canada at the end of January! brrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Ice skates...great shot...being in Northern CA I was not expecting to even get a bit of frost...but it has been cold in the 40s...got into the 50s...still too frigging cold for me!

Best to keep them in the attic. I put on rollerblades thinking how hard can this be. Three weeks later I was able to sit down again.

Don't imagine you want me to send you some ice? :-)

Good save, this time of year should have supplied all of those mentioned.
