Today it was around 40 degrees F outside and I had to clean the maple tree seeds from the gutters before the "real" snow comes. After dragging the ladder around the whole house I knew I had to cut down the Chrysanthemums. They are really beautiful when they are in bloom - pretty light purple flowers - but once they die and turn brown then it's time to cut them back. They run the whole length of the house on the south side. This is the final 10 feet left to cut back and by this time my back was killing me but I finished it and at least I can say "that's done".
I need a nice massage...
