River Walk

Today was a warm day (68F) but with hazy sunshine and I needed a nice quiet walk. This is a wonderful boardwalk the city built along the Genesee River a couple of years ago. The foliage hasn't turned much yet but it was great except for one thing I saw along the way. Half way through the boardwalk I saw a crew from the city working on the fencing. Being me, I asked what happened? They suspect someone either vandalized or stole about 200 feet of the fencing. The water below isn't deep and they could not find the fencing down there and the parts that hold the fencing to the railing were unbolted. Draw your own conclusions.

It's too bad some folks have nothing else to do in their life but destroy public property and spoil a beautiful walkway.

Excellent perspective on this. It looks like you could walk forever! I bet its a beautiful walk, even more so when the leaves start to turn color.

Is that Niagra Falls at the end of the walk? It sure goes on forever! Great perspective shot for Thursday Challange. Vote
