Extreme soundscapes and penetrating aural assaults are the fortay of this prolific outfit. I'd seen their name in many oblique wanderings, but never heard them in a distinct mannor. At the recommendation of Mark Bowman, an associate and fellow music-junkie, recommended I check them out. I was unable to maintain a close proximity to photograph them, but I found myself enjoying their set from a more appropriate position to the P.A., instead of under them. There were moments during their set that I felt had droned on too long, which were then punctuated by violent and relentless attacks of distorted percussion and mutilated guitar. They are the only band I've seen or heard of that, on multiple occasions, would swing a Mace at the audience. Yes, a Mace with 3 spiked balls at the end of chains. Now, that is entertainment, pure and simple.
