Girth

This is an impressive example of the 2-member band phenomenon. Residing in Seattle, WA, their blend of instru-Metal and noise-Math carve their name into this frenzied (some would argue overcrowded) realm of independant music. Here's a tip: listen to the band, ignore the quantity of persons involved, determine if you like/dislike them, and then concern yourself with how many people it took to get it done. These guys rock. I heard them on a KFJC live-mic the week prior to seeing them. I was stoked to be able to catch them on the return portion of their west-coast trip. They're loud, funny and honest on stage. You've got to check these dudes out. Their CD, "Living in Truth" was released on Hector Stentor, catalogue #002. Link here: http://www.houseofgirth.com
