In 1923 werd de grafkelder voor het laatst verbouwd. Een nieuwe arduinen plaat sluit die af, de tekst is door Wilhelmina gekozen: Resurrectionem expectat Guilielmus Primus pater patriae - Hier verwacht Willem I, Vader des Vaderlands, de wederopstanding.
