Great Basin Sagebrush scrub is a high-altitude cold desert with gray-green shrubs (Big Sagebrush). The somewhat rounder shrubs are called Rubber Rabbitbrush.
The most prominent snow-capped peaks are Mount Dana (3,979 meters) and Mount Gibbs (3,901 meters), both in Yosemite National Park.
