Update 2026: The owner permanently closed the doors in November 2025. This marked the end of more than 70 years of family history. The closure of Woods is indicative of the change in Irish villages. Roundstone once boasted as many as six or seven such shops; following the closure of Woods, there is now only one shop left in the entire village.
