This house (1900) is currently (2026) known as Connell’s Heights and is a historic part of the village landscape of Eyeries. It was built for industrial or artisanal use (workshop). This explains the two different doors at the front: a wider entrance for goods/materials and a narrower door. Today, the property serves as a private residence and/or holiday home.
The pump next to the left door is a so-called vernacular village pump (a traditional village pump). In the past, this was the primary water supply for this part of the main street, before houses were connected to the modern water network.
