First Bridge (1832–1882): A wooden structure that required tolls until 1877. After that, management was transferred to the local authorities because the tolls were no longer profitable.
The original wooden bridge and its associated infrastructure were designed by the Scottish engineer Alexander.

Second Bridge (1883–1963): A wrought-iron bridge replaced the wooden version at almost the same location.

Current Bridge (1963–present): The current concrete bridge opened on January 23, 1963, and is located slightly further upstream from the original location.
