A picture of what's left over when a dragonfly emerges from it's aquatic larval stage. Technically it is called an "exuvium", but it is the final shed skin of a dragonfly nymph, the adult has flown away. I don't know what species it is from, but it looks like some sort of Skimmer (Libellulidae).
