Brewer Road-Draw, Grayson County

I don’t know much about this bridge; I found it searching for another bridge that was no longer there. It is a small Pratt Through Truss Bridge with a very different portal design. It extends above the bridge, which is unusual. It is still in service and seems to be in very good condition.

This bridge was saved and placed on private property in Grayson County. May I have your permission to post your photos of the bridge in its original location with my photos its new location along with a historic overview and timeline?

What about an old iron bridge just off hwy 69, over Choctaw Creek at Jerry Pedigo Rd. over to Choctaw Creek with that road closed for many years. Does that bridge still stand. ( I rode my bicycle over it many times in mid-=fifties. ) (It connected with Dugan Chapel Rd on the east side) Ernest Green e-mail Thanks!

Current satellite image shows a new concrete bridge at this crossing. Thanks for preserving the memory of this unique peaked portal bridge.
