Hotel Mercure - really close to train station, just the short block filled with bikes you see in this picture.
I decided to stay in Nijmegen, because it described Arnhem as a centre all but leveled during WWII as non-descript, I also thought this mean't had no night life, and it doesn't list any restaurants!
Still I spent my first day visits the John Frost Bridge, and it seemed like there was a busy area
on the way there, and then I made a rush to the open air museum (which would not have been as
rushed had I stayed in Arnhem. The next day I return to Arnhem to go to the National Park, so
maybe I should have stayed there.
Still I had two nice meals in Nijmegen, and got back early enough to look around it as well which I
might not have done if I had stayed in Arnhem. The Doornroosje did not have anything I wanted to hear (or even open? , can't remember) it is not far away, as I walked by it, without planning to do so.
