This bird made an appearance at my back deck, apparently stunned from a window strike.
It was originally on its back but as I approached it moved. I picked it up and placed in
a sunny spot. While in my hand, it teetered, unable to stand well. After a few
minutes in the sun, it flew off when I approached it again. I wonder if was heading south and
wandered into the enclosed deck and got confused. Hopefully, it's recovery was complete.
I feel like I played a little role in helping the ovenbird on it's way.
