You Ate What?????

MONTHLY CHALLENGE ~ MARCH MIX

Today: You Ate What?????

Turkish Sauteed Liver Dinner at 3 Brother's Diner, Hamden Connecticut.

This diner is run by three brothers and their dad, all born in Turkey.
It became a favorite of my wife and I. For those not familiar, Greeks own
most diners in New England with names like Athena, Acropolis, Parthenon.
This diner has a large Greek section and a small Turkish section on the
menu. My wife asked one of the brothers where Turks eat and he said nearby
West Haven. Sure enough, I found some "all Turkish food" restaurants there!

When I mention liver some of my friends say, "You Ate What?????"

I love Liver if it's not over cooked.

Liver is very good for us, especially for women. It is full of iron.
A lovely, colourful dish, Leo

I'll echo your friends "You Ate What????" Haha. I've only eaten liver once and it was served to me as cold liver and onions. :( Now Liverwurst I like!

It looks both tasty and healthy. Used to eat liver but haven't had it in ages.

"Sautéed Liver" - okayyyyyy... Not my choice, as I'm not a liver fan. But eating out and not cooking I'm a fan of.

Being a fan of liver I'm sure it's as delicious as it looks. Cultures don't change but our eating habits do...we are so lucky to be able to have it all these days

It looks really healthy and colorful for a Liver dinner. Not the old liver and onions we all grew up with. Nice work on the photo! V
