My memory is a cat will never be satisfied with a soft place to sleep if there is anything softer upon it.
The couch covered with a blanket should be soft enough for a cat. Last night it was chilly.
I covered up with a comforter while watching a recording of the, "Castle Finale".
In the morning Helen found this to be superior to the couch alone.
Long ago I learned the hard way that if you layout a shirt on the bed, perhaps to
wear for dinner, a cat will lay upon it. Two layers of cloth can't add much comfort to:
a box spring, mattress, feather mattress, 2 sheets, and a quilt!
