Venus and Jupiter Conjunction - 2016 August 27

Venus and Jupiter passed each other by about 1/15th of a degree, Viewing with the unaided eye you could barely notice the two individually. Although both of these planets are the brightest in our skies, Venus still appeared notably brighter than Jupiter. I used several camera focal lengths so I could match these, even taking some shots of the Sun before sunset so you would be able to see the closeness of the pair in comparison.
