Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn

near DSM Airport, Des Moines, IA

Of course the true separation between Jupiter and Saturn is many millions of miles, they only appear close as Saturn is nearly twice as far away as Jupiter, and both nearly behind the Sun.
