A day away from the full moon, an aurora arrived with big energy, at least the stats said so. Clouds had just dissipated when I arrived at the Jester Park viewing area to see if something would happen. Indeed there was a low-intensity green arc across the northern sky. But then for a few brief minutes, an eruption of red and green spires occurred and the bright moon was not enough to overcome this display. It was short but indeed worth it. The Bz quickly shifted to north and it was done!
