This male Coopers Hawk was moving about on top of the snow covered Pussy Willow in our yard, in an attempt to flush 7 or 8 House Sparrows hiding below. He took off into the nearby hedge, possibly in pursuit of a sparrow. A few seconds later the flock of House Sparrows shot out of the willow and hid in a nearby cedar hedge. The hawk returned about 10 minutes later and brushed the willow but continued on......see next image...
