This is an absolutely beautiful lake nestled in the canyon and ringed with trees.
The mountains rining the lake are astounding. I think they are called The Gable, and Little Matterhorn. You have to see them for yourself.
Its also about in the middle of the trail which means its too far for most people, which in turn means that we had it almost all to ourselves.
